In the heart of Texas my wintertime Sunsets

I know I have posted pictures of sunsets before
But these are so pretty and taken in front of my home...
I cannot get pictures of them fast enough
To get some of those beautiful colors...
None are ever the same...as they change so fast..
Just beautiful! I'm always touched by the
sunsets....I call it touched by the Master's Hand..

There is a High Ridge where I live and I want to take pictures
of the sunsets there too...The fifth picture is taken
driving to that High Ridge I wanted to get the pictures
of that sunset but it was gone when I got there...
I love to drive the back county Roads
I could stay on that High Ridge and dream of the day....
Then dream of the days that are gone forever..
Wanting to reach and touch them again....
God is so good!

Getting Ready for Winter

The Fall and then
Here comes the Winter Time
Brrrrrrrrrr! It was Windy today.......
The Trees are changing colors
Today the colors were much prettier
I took these pictures last week

Howdy!
Now to get the Snowman out! and
Get the red Christmas Flowers

Rocky Creek

This Creek is so full of rocks and when it rains
it sounds like a water fall...It is right beside my Home
It not to deep here but in the back of my land it looks
like it is 20 feet or more deep and carriers lots of water...
It's very pretty and it has lots of wild animal tracks
It is was one of the last places that Indians were seen
I don't live very for from an OLD FORT
So there are lots of stories told about this creek...
It is still as untame as it was back in the middle 1800's...
It is known as Little Rocky Creek
I do like this creek and it so neat to have it on my land
In the winter time is only time I will walk it..
That's after all the leaves have fallen...
I can see all the dangers...Yikes snakes!
Lots of wild animals likes this creek too...........

The road to the back and I took this at sunset
The leaves starting to cover the gound...
I just love the Fall Time of the year
I also love the Winter Time,
It's so pretty with lots of winter birds.

Yard Art

These are just some of my yard art....
Main St is a very old street sign
I think it fits my place
I love the look of old vintage art

More of my yard art cute Girl and Boy
I have this under my Big Flag Pole...
The rabbit is as big as they are....

Now to get the leaves all Raked
But a friend of mine told me
One time....you live in country
Why Rake? I do like the leaves!
I may let them stay on the ground for a while
That is the best part about living
Down on the Farm
You can get away with a lot of things
That you can't in the City...

Flag Day! United States of America June 14

US Flag I fly
at my Home

Flag Day June 14

In 1885, BJ Cigrand, a schoolteacher, arranged for the pupils in the Fredonia, Wisconsin Public School, District 6, to observe June 14 (the 108th anniversary of the official adoption of The Stars and Stripes) as 'Flag Birthday'. Over the following years, Cigrand continued to enthusiastically advocate the observance of June 14 as 'Flag Birthday', or 'Flag Day'.

Proclamation of President Woodrow Wilson on May 30th, 1916. While Flag Day was celebrated in various communities for years after Wilson's proclamation, it was not until August 3rd, 1949, that President Truman signed an Act of Congress designating June 14th of each year as National Flag Day.
