Fall is making it way to TEXAS
We have been so blessed by some very good rain. This weekend we had nearly 5 inches. So we are still pretty and green here in Texas. The trees are Yaupon they are full of its fruit it bears. The Waxwing birds love this and can wipe out it fruit in early springtime. They too are such a beautiful bird to watch and oh so colorful too. I will have to added a picture of them I have at a birdbath at another computer I have.
But there are signs it starting to change into Fall. I love the colors of Fall! Here too is a few pictures of a few of my Fall decorations I have been adding to a small porch on the side of my home. I use to have a big Sun Porch that I use to decorate before I move here. I missed it, but now I have to think little decorations...Ha ha! that is so hard for me!
I love the cooler days and getting ready for the wintertime. I too will have to be getting flowers pots in a safe place to keep them from freezing. I do not have a flower house at this home so it trying to find the room to put them somewhere. I can heat this little porch so maybe that's where I'll keep my ferns and other treasured plants. It does have good light from windows, so they will be happy to stay indoors while it cold outside. I did planned to build a flower house but this has not happen yet. I sure enjoyed having one at my last home. It was a perfect to keep all my plants safe from the cold. I do miss it!
The last pictures are of my Donkey Ears OH my, I did not ever think when I bought a ONE Hanging Pot how they would multiply. You would not believe the babies they have had. One broke off at the base of pot and I just stuck it in the ground and look I will have to dig it up too. It has grown and grown and so pretty and green. The old grill I was fixing to haul to the dump until I saw how someone had used one for a plant stand. I'm going to spray paint it I think an off white color.
I do love Pinterest for so many new ideals to reuse items you might have junked! The grill that was on there they had painted a red. OH, it was pretty but would not go with my Barn Red Storage House it is sitting by. Lord willing, next year I will be doing more yard work. But for now I am glad most of my plants are in pots. Easier to put inside from the cold freezes we get and then on pretty days I can put them outside to get more sun. Until next time y'all have a wonderful week!

Where have I been far so long?

My where have I been for so long? I did moved over a year ago. This sure got me away from blogging! It was a long haul. I first stayed with my daughter for a few month. Then I brought me a new double wide 4 bedroom home. Then the moving started it was over 30 miles away. I felt like all my furniture and treasures were never going to get all moved. I do love my new home and I am close to my oldest daughter's home. I did sell my home and land that I had loved so dearly. Another chapter closed in life. But a new one opened :) God is Good!
I do have way too much items for my new home. I have moved many times and every time I move all my stuff seems to never fits in my new home. Thankful I'm just about to get my home in order. I would say it's about time!
Soon, I will be selling my overflow. I plan to put some in Esty shops. I have three shops one called Vintage Treasures another one is Vintage Pieces and Bits in this shop I will be adding my craft/supplies that I need to destash my stash! I open these shops a few years ago to sell but never got into it very good. Ha ha I was always buying instead of selling.
I also will be selling most of my vintage dolls and dolls clothes in Vintage Toys and Dolls I will update as I get the shops loaded for some very good sales. I do believe I will have something for about anyone who collects or love old dolls.

I always seem to have time check on friends and family on facebook. I am into Pinterest. I still enjoy all the updates from my blog friends.
I've added a Pinterest button to my side bar. It will take you to my page if you would like to follow me on Pinterest. I like going there and then clicking on where the pins come from and many are from blogs.
I going to add a few pictures to see if I can still do it here on my page. Well I did not do too good they went to the top.....OH well, I will leave them there. I will add some more later.
The flowers were so pretty this summer. Now that Fall is here they are about all gone. We had such a hot summer here in Texas. I had keep the watering these old time flowers. They do seed back every year. They will start blooming early in the spring and last all summer. I love the kind that will come back up without planting every year.
I do have three blogs one is done. Now two more to update check them out too.

I have been doing that all summer...and
I love to read the Bible always love to
read The Twenty Third Psalms
This Vintage picture that I added to my gift
Reminds me of The LORD Is My Shepherd
and The Lord gives me my needs and rest!
Thank you sweet Jesus!
You are so Wonderful to all of us............
23 Psalms:
1. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3. He restoreth my soul:
he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.
4. Yea, though I walk through
the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5. Thou preparest a table before me
in the presence of mine enemies:
thou anointest my head with oil;
my cup runneth over.
6. Surely goodness and mercy
shall follow me all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of
the Lord for ever.

SOME OF My COW COLLECTION..and more....

I've collected a few cows...I like all kinds of farm animals..
I think I have every kind of farm animals...
Cows, horses, chickens, pigs, sheep, ducks,
and turkeys just to name a few....
Some are toys and some are whimsey but all to me
are just plain cute...isn't that what collecting all about...
Having fun with gathering so much fun shopping..
Looking for that item that will go with your collections...
Once I start collecting I usually have to say...Now Stop That!
I do have way too much stuff...Down on the Farm...
I chose my Cows today....to show in a few pictures
That I have around in my home...I do have cows that
come to the fence across the Farm to Market Road...
and then there are Black Cows that come up to my back fence
gate...They are not mine, they belong to my neighbors...
I let them come in to eat to help me mow my Back 40........
there is a lot of mooing going on around my home place...
Now that the mother cows are calling the babies calves...
And then Mr Bull has too put lots of his bellowing in....and
then the Bull across the road has to bellow back a few times...
At night when I sit on my porch in my rocker
Those bulls can make your hair stand up...
They do make lots of different sounds bellowing
at one another...Who the best Bull on the block?...
Sometimes they get into a big fight to see who best...
I too love to watch the calves running and playing.....
It reminds of the times that I had my own cows....
But now I have only small animals...dogs and cats...
These cows I can look at and enjoy and don't have to feed....
The two pictures of the cows with all the toy cows and
pigs was a Mama Cow we had in the Late 1940's
and that a picture of her calf...This Mama cow gave us our
milk and my mother made our butter from the cream...
to put on table....Lots of times I helped her turn the
handle to make the butter....and sometimes
she would save cream to make whipping cream for
the fresh Strawberry that my dad grew in the garden
and OH soooooooo....yummy..........and good for you...
I remember so well my daddy milking that cow..
also the mama cat bringing her kittens to get my
daddy to give them a little milk too...My dad
always shared a little of that sweet milk........
Times have sure change and very few people have
a milk cow at the home anymore...back then you didn't
have to live in the country to have a cow...It was
kept in most backyards along with the chickens...
For fresh eggs...my dad kept our family well fed
with a wonderful garden and lots good fruits ...
That picture of that Big old pig or hog...
I got at an Antique shop...I know that it was one big pig..
Enjoy my Cow Collection....at my home...
I have lots more and I think maybe I put a picture in twice..
Just like an old great-granny.....can't see too good....
Thanks for stopping to see me...Down on the Farm...
